The 3 volumes of this publication are a product of a pioneering project
designed to preserve and celebrate the rich cricketing heritage of Calderdale
and Kirklees in West Yorkshire. The books provide a fascinating insight into
the history of local cricket, with each of the volumes covering a different
geographical area. Of special interest to local history enthusiasts and
cricket fans alike, these books focus not only on the game and players, but
also on the social dimensions of the sport and the clubs' strong links with
their local communities.
The books contain a selection of the photos, newspaper cuttings and
cartoons collected as part of this heritage archive. The title "180 Not Out"
refers to the 180 years of tradition of cricket at the local club level in
this part of the country.
Each of the volumes contains approximately 125 pages and is A5 soft cover.
